Help African Broken and Mended Support Groups Receive Books and Training
The Groups Are Ready. The Leaders Are Faithful. The Books Are Missing.
Broken and Mended has hundreds of support groups in Africa, but unlike here in the States, they are not able to pay for their books. We have had to fund printing in Africa from our general budget, and we have not been able to keep up with the explosive growth of our support groups in Africa for those living with chronic illness and pain.
We have dozens of groups (and hundreds of people) who need books for the first time, or they have finished the material and are waiting on volume 2 of our Leader's and Reflection Guides. However, we cannot provide vol. 2 when so many are still waiting on their first books.
The sponsorship program is our solution for these challenges. For $200 a year--paid annually or $50 dollars quarterly--you can sponsor one group of fifteen and provide them with books and local/regional training opportunities to help their groups thrive. You will receive updates from your group through a Broken and Mended email address, so that your personal information is protected. You can send encouraging messages back to the groups through that same email.
People in Africa have less available health care and even fewer systems of support. Lives are being changed, and hope is being restored through Broken and Mended. Can you help us keep it going?
